USTAZ AZIZAN TELLS DAP TO STOP MEDDLING

"Mind your own business". That's the advice Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak has for Pas' Pakatan Rakyat partners in opposition-ruled states who have been critical of the state's new housing policy which increases the Bumiputera quota to 50 per cent.
Azizan said he didn't want any interference from "outsiders" over his running of the state, since he had never commented on how they ran their states.
"This is a Kedah matter and we will solve it the Kedah way."They should mind their own business.
Why should someone from Selangor comment on matters in Kedah?" He was referring to DAP central committee member Teng Chang Kim's support for Lee Guan Aik, who had threatened to leave the state's Pakatan Rakyat government if Azizan did not withdraw the housing policy. Lee is the sole DAP representative in the Pas-led government.
He is part of a growing chorus of opposition to the housing policy, which increased the Bumiputera quota from 30 per cent to 50 per cent for new projects beginning Sept 1.Teng, who is also Selangor state assembly speaker, was reported as saying that another DAP central committee member, Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham of Perak, also supported Lee.
He said holding one to ransom was not good for state governments under the Pakatan Rakyat."I don't like it when people threaten to do this or that if I don't follow them.
I wonder what they would say if Pas threatens to pull out from the Pakatan Rakyat governments in Selangor and Perak?"Azizan said the state government would soon issue a white paper on the housing policy.
